The craft and science of brewing excellence
Kentucky Common
Don't let the color fool you. Skeetr is based on the historic Kentucky Common Ale, one of America's nearly forgotten beer styles. First brewed around Louisville in the 1850s, Kentucky Common once accounted for nearly 80% of the beer consumed throughout the Ohio River Valley before disappearing after Prohibition. Traditionally brewed for quick consumptionโoften reaching the saloon within eight daysโthis refreshing dark ale features Hudson Valley Pale, Chocolate, Munich, Dark Wheat, and Caramel malts with New York Centennial and noble hops. The result is a light-bodied beer with grainy malt character, hints of caramel and toffee, and just enough roast to keep things interesting.

American Pilsner
Sometimes the best beer is the one that doesn't ask for your attention. Porch Nite Pils is our American Pilsner brewed with 100% Hudson Valley Pilsner malt and traditional noble hops, creating a brilliantly clear golden lager that's crisp, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable. Gentle grainy malt flavors are balanced by soft floral hop character before finishing clean and dry. Named after those perfect Adirondack summer evenings spent relaxing on the porch, this is a beer built for good conversation, warm sunsets, and one more round.

West Coast Inspired New York IPA
Cooked at 70 is a hazy New England IPA brewed with Hudson Valley Pale and Pilsner malts, plus white wheat for a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Generous whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra, Cascade, Simcoe, and Mosaic create bold aromas of pineapple, stone fruit, citrus, and classic dank hop character, finishing juicy, smooth, and remarkably drinkable. Its name is a nod to one of the North Country's most memorable events, the 2015 manhunt following the escape of David Sweat and Richard Matt from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora. It honors IPA lover, NYSP Sgt. Jay Cook, whose role in capturing David Sweat inspired this beer's name. It's a local story, a local beer, and a toast to North Country history.
ABV: 6.5% | IBU: 72
Belgian Wit
Algonquin for "Big Rock" and also the namesake of one of the Adirondacks' iconic Great Camps, "Wawbeek" Wit is our interpretation of the classic Belgian Witbier. Brewed with equal parts Hudson Valley Pilsner and Wheat malt, it is fermented with a traditional German ale yeast following being steeped with freshly ground coriander seed and bitter orange peel. The result is a naturally hazy, straw-colored wheat beer bursting with aromas of banana and citrus, followed by soft wheat sweetness, delicate spice, and a refreshing, slightly tart finish. Bright, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing.
ABV: 5.1% | IBU: 10
Cream Ale
An authentically American beer style with deep roots in the Northeast, Brewski celebrates the Cream Ale, a style born to compete with the pale lagers brewed by German immigrants and popular enough to survive Prohibition. Our version is brewed with Hudson Valley Pilsner and Vienna malts alongside flaked corn, creating a beer that's light-bodied, highly carbonated, and exceptionally refreshing while adding just a touch more malt character and color than traditional examples. Smooth, approachable, and thirst-quenching, Brewski is proof that simple beers can still be full of character.

American Porter
Long before becoming a brewery, our building served as the "Hose House" for the historic Plattsburgh Barracks Fire Department. Named in its honor, this American Porter is brewed with Hudson Valley 2-Row malt, chocolate malt, and roasted wheat for a smooth, silky drinking experience. Notes of bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, and toasted malt deliver rich flavor without overwhelming heaviness. Balanced and approachable, Hose House is the kind of dark beer that surprises people with just how easy it is to drink.

German Altbier
"Pine Knot" carries a double meaning. It honors the first of the Adirondack Great Camps while reflecting the warm copper color of a knot in an old pine tree. This traditional German Altbier, literally "Old Beer", uses a lager-inspired malt bill fermented cool with ale yeast to create exceptional smoothness. Rich amber hues introduce flavors of toasted bread, caramel, and light toffee, all balanced by a remarkably crisp finish. Although darker in color, Pine Knot drinks far lighter than it looks, making it a favorite for every season.
ABV: 5.0% | IBU: 28
Hard Seltzer
Simple, clean, and endlessly customizable, Clean Slate is our house-crafted hard seltzer fermented with traditional Kveik Voss yeast, contributing a subtle flinty mineral character that complements its bright citrus finish. A light dry hop addition of New York Cascade lends gentle notes of citrus without overwhelming the clean profile. Served as-is or infused with one of our many rotating house flavors, Clean Slate offers a refreshing alternative for anyone looking for something light, crisp, and easy drinking.

The name Adirondack (Native American for "Bark Eater") evokes feelings of authenticity, reliability, and an escape to a beautiful, wild, natural, unique setting. That is how we want you to feel in our brewery! The Adirondacks have a rich history, from the Iroquois and Algonquins, major American battles, "Great Camps" for wealthy visitors, and our valuable relationship with our Canadian neighbors. We are proud of our Adirondack heritage which includes relatives who were Adirondack Guides and Forest Rangers during the early development of this region.
The Fox is well known for its cunning and its beauty, but is also often described as being clever, intuitive, adaptable, and resourceful. Some Native American tribes describe the Silver Fox as a wise and benevolent Creator god; while other tribes associate the Fox with fire and the sun (both symbols in our logo). According to some myths, it was the Fox who stole fire to bring to the people. Having grown up on Fox Hill in Plattsburgh's south end, it is no wonder that the Fox would be an important part of our logo.
It is also certainly notable that we are located in a historic fire station on a historic military base dating back to the time of the War of 1812.
Our team consists of certified baristas, experienced brewers, and passionate hospitality folks who are dedicated to providing you with the best experience possible. We're constantly training, experimenting, and refining our craft to bring you exceptional beverages.
